Water meter readings, month by month, without copying mistakes
Reading each water meter is the easy part. The hard part is entering it correctly: subtracting the previous reading, not skipping a home, and noticing in time that a number makes no sense.

- One table per month with each meter’s previous reading alongside and the usage worked out as you type.
- Press Enter to jump to the next meter and go through the whole building in one go.
- A reading lower than the previous one is shown in red so you can check it.
- Shows how many homes have no meter and lets you register several meters at once.
- If a meter is removed because it broke, its last month’s usage is estimated from the average of the previous months: three by default, adjustable per building.
- Export the readings to Excel or share a summary on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions
What if a reading is lower than the previous one?
Comunaris marks it in red so you can check it. It does not block it, because the previous reading may have been wrong: the call is yours.
What happens when a meter is replaced?
The old meter is retired and the new one starts from zero in the same home. If it was removed because it broke, its last month’s usage is estimated from the average of the previous months.
Are the readings used to split the water bill?
Yes. Each home’s usage is the basis for splitting the building’s water bill.
Can I get the readings out of the app?
You can export them to Excel or share a summary on WhatsApp from the Share menu.
