Comunaris features
Amenity bookings without double bookings
The function room, the grill or the roof terrace get booked over messages or in a notebook. Sooner or later two neighbours book the same thing at the same time, or someone books a day the amenity is closed.
Create an accountHow Comunaris solves it
- Each amenity has its own opening hours for every day of the week.
- You can block an amenity for maintenance over a period.
- Before saving, Comunaris checks that the amenity is active, open that day, that the booking falls within its hours, that it is not blocked and that it does not overlap another one.
- The check runs again on the server, and the database refuses two overlapping bookings even if they are saved at the same time.
Step by step
- 1
Set up the amenities
Add each amenity with its opening hours per day of the week.
- 2
Record the booking
Enter the amenity, the date and the time; if it clashes with something, Comunaris tells you what.
- 3
Review bookings and blocks
See each amenity’s bookings and maintenance blocks in a table.
Frequently asked questions
Who can create bookings?
Today, the building administrator. Neighbours ask for the booking and the administrator records it.
How are double bookings prevented?
Before saving, Comunaris checks the booking does not overlap another one for the same amenity, and the database rejects any that do.
Can an amenity be closed for maintenance?
Yes, with a block over a period; while it lasts, no bookings are accepted for that amenity.
Is there a calendar view?
Not yet. For now bookings and blocks are shown in tables.
